Girl bosses


For Sttoke, an Australian coffee mug company, two distinct campaigns were created to showcase their products.
The first was a bold, high-energy shoot for a new mug launch aimed at "girl bosses." The creative direction
focused on a neutral-toned aesthetic to highlight the mug while embracing confidence and empowerment.
Dynamic posing and unconventional camera angles added to the striking visual narrative, which featured three
models who embodied strong, girl boss energy.

The second campaign, for Sttoke’s core travel mugs, created Mother's Day and Father's Day assets. Soft fabrics
and florals set an elegant tone for Mother's Day, while leather and dark fabrics conveyed strength and warmth for
Father's Day.

One of the many benefits of working for Noodles & Company is the access that each employee has to the Noodles Foundation. The Foundation is a pool of resources for employees, by employees. Each employee at Noodles has the opportunity to contribute a portion of their paycheck to help other employees out in times of need. Examples? Money is tight and rent is due. The Foundation is here to help. An unexpected death can often lead to unexpected funeral expenses. The Foundation is here to help. Your child is heading off to college. The Foundation has a scholarship opportunity for that.

Overview

Sttoke, a coffee mug company based out of Australia, wanted assets for their core line of travel mugs to use in ads around Mother's Day and Father's Day, and a campaign called, Girl Bosses. They're only ask was that we highlighted the mug, but gave us free reign otherwise. Kenzie King led the art direction and styling– one of her many areas of expertise.

Challenges & Approach

The difficulty in the shoot was making simplicity move the needle. With the mug at the center point, the style had to add and not take away. A fine line to walk. With a small team on this production, all of us were wearing multiple hats.


The result

This campaign ultimately resulted in successful brand awareness of this unbreakable ceramic mug.
